The road so far:
Most recently I have been a partner in a leading Adelaide commercial law firm where I earned a reputation as a wills and estate disputes expert. Although my expertise primarily lies in commercial and estate litigation, my practice also encompasses business succession with an emphasis on family businesses, trusts, corporation and partnership issues, and estate planning. I enjoy being able to assist my clients navigate complex, but sometimes emotional situations, and helping them find solutions that suit their individual circumstances.
Why this path:
Even though I am a litigator, I am passionate about helping clients avoid disputes (or resolve them early), especially in matters of business succession and estate planning. Sometimes you need a hard edge, and I can provide that too when it's needed. However, prevention is always better than a cure, which is why giving the right advice upfront is critical in my books.

The road so far:
I have been down many paths, having worked in large multinational law firms, an ASX-listed company and a small regional practice, but ultimately I have found that my passion lies in assisting people to overcome life’s hurdles. My expertise includes commercial, succession and estate planning, property, tax, and business law. I also serve as a trusted commercial and business advisor on multiple management and company boards.
Why this path:
Growing up in Port Lincoln, I have always loved primary production, agriculture, fishing, and aquaculture and have so much admiration for small to medium business owners. What I like most about legal practice is forming strong relationships with my clients and I consider my strength to be explaining complex advice in a way my clients can understand. I like knowing I can help.

The road so far:
Before transitioning into law, my family and I successfully owned and operated several businesses in South Australia, giving me firsthand insight into the challenges business owners face and the dynamics of family-run enterprises. I began my legal career specialising in migration law and wills and estates, which gave me a deep understanding of the complex interaction between people’s personal circumstances and the law. With a well-rounded perspective, I now focus on succession and estate planning and commercial law, ensuring my clients receive strategic, forward-thinking solutions tailored to their needs.
Why this path:
As a migrant, I grew up with a deep understanding of the value of hard work and family—principles that continue to shape my approach to law. I am passionate about helping people secure their assets and plan for the future, whether it’s protecting their business or ensuring their family is looked after. Succession planning and commercial law allow me to combine my personal experiences with my legal expertise to make a real difference for my clients.
